Implementation:
- Schedules implementation meetings with new clients and team members to provide a warm welcome and begin the data-gathering process.
- Facilitates ongoing meetings throughout the implementation project, maintains project milestones and tasks, ensuring the client is engaged and completing tasks as assigned and by defined timelines.
- Sets priorities with client and communicates challenges or delays with the PEO internal service team.
- Analyzes and scrubs employee data files for import into PEO systems.
- Assists with new hire onboarding, monitors with client and coordinates with Benefits department in preparation for enrollment where applicable.
- Facilitates training for clients in the HRIS system, i.e. navigation, employee updates, reporting, onboarding and enrollment monitoring, HR Acton and PTO approvals, payroll submission and approvals.
- Audits billing – admin fees, credits, implementation fees and all payroll-related fees.
Payroll:
- Compiles payroll data for assigned client base (gross pay, per diem, reimbursements, advances, taxes, benefits deductions, garnishments, etc.).
- Accurately enters and maintains all client-related and employee-related information in the payroll system, including any changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, direct deposit, special withholdings, etc.
- Reviews payroll data and collaborates with client to complete accurate, compliant and timely payroll based on PEO guidelines/requirements.
- Facilitates training to educate the client and their representatives on federal and state tax regulations and federal labor laws.
- Collaborates with all payroll-related internal departments and client service teams to ensure client challenges are quickly resolved and documented accordingly.
- Maintains knowledge of PEO payroll policies, wage and tax law updates and system enhancements to ensure compliance with PEO payroll guidelines/requirements.
- Maintains positive relationships with assigned clients and worksite employees to ensure that qualify payroll service is delivered to support the business and client retention.
- Maintains knowledge of all PEO service offerings to assist clients with general inquiries.
- Proactively escalates suggestions, challenges and observations to PEO management.
- May track the cost of individual projects and jobs such as direct and indirect costs, i.e. labor, materials and overhead.
Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience/Requirements & Preferences:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates or BA degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred.
- FPC Certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of PEO experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll implementation experience in PrismHR.
- ClientSpace within PrismHR.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office 365 suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; 10-key experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, adapt to changes and process improvement.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team in order to deliver results.
- Experience in Transportation / Trucking preferred.
